1.  Put a black and yellow pipe cleaner together.
2.  Wrap them around and around a pencil.
3.  Cut a purple pipe cleaner in half.
4.  Make them shaped like bee wings.
5.  Hot glue wings onto the yellow and black pipe cleaner.  Get an adult to help with the glue gun.
6.  Hot glue a black pom pom onto the top.
7.  Glue two googly eyes on.
8.  With two small dots of hot glue, glue antenna out of wire.

1.  Cut a raindrop shape and turn it upside down.
2.  Cut triangle wings.  Bigger ones for the top and smaller ones for the bottom.
3.  Glue them onto the upside down raindrop.
4.  Cut smaller triangles or circles (four) and glue them in the middle of four wings.
5.  Glue string or paper antennae on.
6.  Take a strip of paper and glue it on the back of the butterfly’s wings.  Make sure your finger can fit through it.
7.  Wait for the glue to dry
1.  Cut a plate in half.
2.  Cut two strips of paper for the headband.
3.  Staple strips of paper on to the paper plate as shown in the photo.
4.  Cut two triangles out of paper for ears.
5.  Color pink in the ears.
6.  Glue the ears onto the rounded part of the paper plate.

7.  Color the face.
8.  Cut six pieces of thread for whiskers.
9.  Put two dots of glue on each side of the nose.
10.  Put the ends of the thread into the dots of glue.  Now the whiskers are glued on!
11.  Let the glue dry.
12.  Measure your head and staple the headband to the right size.

1.  Scrape some yellow chalk into a bag.
2.  Shake 2 cotton balls into the bag until they are completely covered.
3.  Glue the cotton balls together.
4.  Find a suitable eggshell for your bird.  You can use a real eggshell or a plastic one.
5.  Roll a piece of clay into a ball the size of a marble.
6.  Press the ball into the middle of the bottom of the eggshell.
7.  Put the chick into the egg.
8.  Make beak and eyes out of paper.
9.  Glue the beak and eyes onto the chick.
10.  Find a suitable nest.
1.  Paint a paper plate yellow and let it dry.  You could also glue some sand to the outside.
2.  Fold a paper plate in half.
3.  Staple the edges a little.
4.  Glue purple tissue paper inside.
5.  Glue two big googly eyes to the tissue paper.
We did this art activity to remember our fun day at the beach.
1. Draw or trace a bird onto a piece of paper of blue or yellow construction paper.
2. Color the bird with white chalk.
3. Spread white glue onto the bird.
4. Glue white feathers onto the bird.
5. You could also glue sand onto the bottom of the picture for the beach.

1.  Fold a paper in half and cut out the shape of a ladybug.
2.  Color one side.
3.  Staple them together but make sure to leave a hole.
4.  Stuff something in to make it fuller.
5.  Staple the hole up and that’s all!

1.  Cut a circle in the middle of a plate.
2.  Cut out two ears of black or brown paper
3.  Staple the ears on the back of the plate.
4.  Glue some cotton balls on the top or bottom edge of the plate.

1.  Get a white balloon.
2.  Blow it up and tie it.
3.  Draw mouse ears, eyes, nose and whiskers and a tail.
4.  Then color them.
5.  Next you cut them out!
6.  Then tape them onto your balloon.

1.  Draw a peacock’s body and legs. (Use marker)
2.  Then draw the peacock’s head, beak and eye.
3.  You could also add a line in the beak for the peacock’s mouth.
4.  Now draw some feathers coming out of the back and on the head.  Decorate them and then color them in.
5.  Add some eggs!

1.  Make a big heart.  If you want your heart to be like mine make a word splash here: http://www.wordle.net/
2.  Print it.  Cut your word splash into a heart shape.
3.  Then you make a head.  Draw a nose, whiskers, eyes and mouth on it.  You can color them if you like.  Use pink paper.
4.  Make 2 triangles that fit the head as ears.  Cut two smaller triangles to go inside.  Use pink and red paper.
5.  Cut 4 oval shapes for paws.  Put two dots at the top of them and one sideways oval at the bottom.  Use red paper.
6.  Cut out a tail.  It may take a couple of tries to get a good one.  Use pink paper.
7.  Then glue the word splash on a piece of paper or a paper bag. Tuck the face so the cat’s mouth is in the middle of the heart.
8.  Put the big triangles and little triangles on to fit the cat’s head.
9.  Then glue the paws on; two near the top and two near the bottom.
10.  Then slip the tail near a bottom paw.
11.  You can cut out the cat or use the bag to hold your valentines!
